    Description

Virginia May 1, 1780 $4 PCGS Banknote About Unc 55 PPQ.
A well margined Virginia note which appears as bright and fresh today as the moment it left the Hall & Sellers printing office in 1781. It's signed on the front by J (onathan) Broush and John Lyne and endorsed on the reverse by F (orster) Webb. The more poorly margined but higher grade example of this note fetched $2,400 in our recently concluded Hunter Collection sale.
