    Virginia May 1, 1780 $2 PCGS Choice New 63PPQ.
A very well-printed, fully Uncirculated Virginia Guaranteed note that has the latest known handwritten issuing date of October 9, 1781. Jonathan Boush and John Lyne signed this example and their signatures remain dark and bold. The guarantee on the back was signed by Forster Webb and his signature remains dark as well. The 63PPQ grade seems a touch on the conservative side as this note is well margined, beautifully bright, and with the eye appeal of a Gem. It might well be a good subject for a re-grade.
