    Two Pennsylvania April 20, 1781 Notes - 1s 6d PMG Extremely Fine 40 & 2s 6d PCGS Very Fine 35.
This later date Pennsylvania issue is far scarcer than the oft-seen mid-1770s pieces. The PMG 40 example in its comment-free holder is a particularly striking note for this issue, with its broad margins and far sharper than normal print quality. The PCGS 35 is noted with having minor restorations. Two scarce and very nice notes. In a weekly sale in July 2012, we sold a raw VF/XF of the 1s 6d note for $431. To us, this lovely 40 is a $750 note on its own. (Total: 2 notes)
