    Description

South Carolina October 19, 1776 $6 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
The emblem on this $6 note illustrates wind and waves and the motto is TURBAT SED EXTOLLIT, which Newman translates as "it disturbs but it elevates." The note displays nice overall eye appeal on the face. The tape mounting remnants along the left border on the back resulted in the apparent grade. The tape is solely in the open area and does not impact the design whatsoever.
