Description
South Carolina February 8, 1779 $90 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.The note was engraved by Thomas Coram and it is signed on the back in small letters along the edge of Hercules' cape. The back vignette is Hercules Strangling a Lion. All three signatures remain clearly visible. Were it not for the edge damage mentioned by PCGS, the note would be well margined on all four sides. The upper right corner was reattached and a tape repair and stain are seen.
