Description

South Carolina April 10, 1778 Uncut Sheet of Four About New. An extremely well margined uncut sheet of four different denominations: 2s6d, 3s9d, 5s and 10s. The sheet has a few minor light folds, but it has clearly not circulated. About 20 years ago, a small group of these sheets were available, but almost all were cut to satisfy the need for individual notes, and it's been quite some time since we've seen one. All four of these notes are very well printed. This is sure to be a hotly contested item in the lively Colonial market that has begun to develop.
