Description

    South Carolina April 10, 1778 2s 6d PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 45.
From the John J. Ford Jr. collection. Relatively low serial number 297. Boldly signed and very attractive for the grade with plenty of embossing visible from the back. PCGS notes a minor corner stain, small edge tear and minor ink erosion. The last example we sold was in September; that PCGS Apparent EF 45 sold for $264.38.
