South Carolina April 10, 1778 10s PCGS Gem New 65.
A really high grade South Carolina Colonial that is the first 65 we have had to offer. We have sold a trio of PMG Gem CU 66 EPQ examples in the past half-dozen years, with realizations between $1500-$2000. The present offering has gigantic margins on all sides, two boldly accomplished signatures and all the eye appeal one could want from any Colonial. A few weeks ago, we sold a 2s 6d note in a PCGS Very Choice New 64 holder for $705.
