Rhode Island June 16, 1775 20s PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
This is the first 20s example from this rare issue that we have handled. In fact, we have sold only two notes from this issue; a 4s and a 10s. The grade of this note is almost identical to the 30s note used as the illustration for this issue in Newman. The Apparent grade has been assigned for "small edge splits". This note is likely one of the finest survivors of its denomination. Both signatures are wonderfully bold and clear including the red signature of Thomas Greene, which is almost always seen faded.
