    Description

Rhode Island January 15, 1776 4s PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20.
We have never sold a 4s note from this rare Rhode Island issue and this is the only piece that either grading service has handled. Even as a VF, with its splits, tears, damage and redrawing, it is a highly important note. New England specialists and Colonial generalist will all recognize its significance. It is incredible how low the prices are on notes of this rarity.
