    Known as "Bettering House Money," these notes were issued to help provide relief and employment for the poor people of Philadelphia. This example was signed by Jacob Lewis, Charles Thomson, and Stephen Collins. Plate letter A is seen on this two shillings note. PMG mentioned splits.
