Desirable 1764 Issue Ben Franklin Colonial

    Pennsylvania June 18, 1764 10s PCGS Apparent Fine 15.
This issue is actually quite available for the pence denomination notes as well as the highest 20 shilling denomination. Everything in between is a much tougher find. PCGS does note the edge splits which are rather heavy and seen along the center fold. The signatures remain particularly legible for a note that has seen this much circulation with the back displaying a solidly-detailed nature leaf. The last couple of 10 shilling notes that we have sold were a PMG VF 20 Net for $528.75 and the Newman note which realized $399.50 back in October, also residing in a PCGS Apparent Fine 15 holder.
