    Description

Pennsylvania January 1, 1756 15s PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
The desirable "Printed by B. FRANKLIN, D. HALL." text is dark and distinct on this plate letter B note. Considering the problems mentioned, the note has a nice appearance on both sides. PCGS cited small edge splits, paper pulls, design redrawn and stains as the reasons for the apparent grade. The redrawn areas are seen along the border on the back. PMG has graded three examples, with the highest a VF 20. Again, our estimate may well prove to be on the low side.
