DescriptionPennsylvania April 3, 1772 2s 6d PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20.
The Apparent grade has been assigned for minor damage and a small hole. The damage is insect caused, minor, and on the back. The small hole is part of that. This note bears the signature of John Morton one of Pennsylvania's Declaration of Independence signers. In spite of the note's relatively low grade, the Morton signature is dark and one of the cleanest and clearest we have seen.
Estimate: $1,000 - up.
