Pennsylvania October 25, 1775 Block of Four with serial number 31 PMG About Uncirculated 50.
An astounding block of four Pennsylvania notes with what is the lowest serial number that we can recall having seen on any Pennsylvania multiple. Each note is wonderfully margined with bold printing and three well executed signatures. There is a light vertical fold traversing the two left notes and a possible corner fold at the lower right but it is difficult to tell through the holder. The upper left note appears to be wholly unscathed by any signs of circulation. Individually these four notes would likely be worth in the mid to upper hundreds of dollars but we suspect it will be more highly coveted as an intact block.
