    Description

Pennsylvania May 1, 1760 20s Choice Very Fine This piece is in incredible grade for the issue with three strong signatures and every word of the text on both sides plainly visible. The note emanated from Benjamin Franklin's print shop in the city of Philadelphia nearly two decades before our Nation's independence. The "Printed by B. Franklin" imprint on the back is remarkably sharp. This is not a terribly rare issue, but easily 90% of the survivors grade very good and worse. This beauty is free of problems but for some expert strengthening of it's horizontal center fold and a tiny restoration of the lower left corner tip. A significant rarity.
