Pennsylvania March 10, 1757 10s PCGS Apparent Very Good 08.
The Session begun on October 14, 1756 authorized £45,000 in legal tender bills that were good until March 10, 1761. Denominations ranged from 5s to 20s, with 18,000 of each denomination printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. Similar designs were continued from the 1756 issue. This 10s note has seen heavy circulation, but is still essentially intact with major design elements still legible, although fading, particularly of the signatures, has taken place. The note exhibits a heavy centerfold that has been repaired, as well as edge roughness in the form of short splits, small missing pieces, and tattering. With only seven public auction appearances recorded in recent memory, there are not many of these to go around.
