    Description

    Pennsylvania June 18, 1764 5s PCGS Apparent Good 06.
40,000 5s notes were printed by Benjamin Franklin and his partner David Hall as part of this issue. This note, like so many others, was circulated until it virtually fell apart. Then someone backed it in order to prolong its time in circulation. Most of the major design elements are clear and legible on this plate C note whose signatures have faded away. PCGS notes splits, damage, and that the note is backed.
