    Description

Pennsylvania April 3, 1772 1 Shilling Fr. PA-154 PCGS Very Choice New 64PPQ.
There were small format pence and larger format shilling notes printed by Hall and Sellers for the April 3, 1772, Act. This large, vertical format note is plate position A. The nature print is strong and shows the denomination "One Sh" deftly placed in script in the lower right corner. The face margins are close, but complete, and face-to-back registration perfect.
    From the Hunter Collection.
