    Description

Pennsylvania April 20, 1781 1s6d PCGS Choice About New 58.
This is the only example graded at PCGS that is not in an Apparent holder and the highest example by many grades. In 2012, we sold a raw VF/XF for $431. This is a much scarcer, low denomination of this already very scarce issue. We would not be at all surprised to see this important Colonial note reach or exceed $1,500.
