    North Carolina March 9, 1754 30s PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.
    We have sold approximately 175 examples of this scarcer 1754 issue but only two others that have reached this lofty grade. A really stunning example in terms of both technical grade as well as eye appeal, with bold signatures, bright paper and broad indent. PCGS notes there are a few repaired edge tears but this example is far and away nicer than 99% of the damaged, low-grade examples that have survived from the hoard. This is a real treasure piece that should be displayed proudly by its new owner.
