    Description

North Carolina March 9, 1754 26s8d Very Fine. This oddly denominated note has a few edge splits, rounded corners and a missing tip at the upper right, but it is still far nicer than the typical survivor of this scarce early issue. The back is covered with contemporary endorsements and notations, in the universal manner of these early North Carolina issues.
