    Description

North Carolina December, 1771 £1 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
An exceptional example from this more available issue that is not often seen in this grade. This denomination has the bear emblem which represents the Ursa Minor constellation. The signatures are bold and the back free of cluttering endorsements which are so often seen on these North Carolina issues. It is further enhanced by a "radar" serial number of 8008.
