    Description

North Carolina December 1768 10s Choice Very Fine. This is the first 10s example of this issue that CAA has ever offered. It is without doubt extremely rare, although the reference works follow the pattern of the other North Carolina issues and have the lower denominations priced for less. The opposite is clearly the case with rarity, as CAA has sold nineteen examples of higher-denomination notes while handling only a single piece from this issue below 20s. An important rarity that will not be overlooked by this Colony's many collectors. It's well signed, well margined and problem-free.
