    Description

North Carolina April 4, 1748 £3 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
PCGS notes a center split repaired, edge tears and repairs, as well as pieces missing. Once you get through all of that, remember that only 2,000 of this highest denomination note for this 265 year old issue were emitted. The note features a vignette of Fort Jefferson flying a Union Jack. There are enough endorsements on the back to keep you busy researching for a while if you are so inclined.
