    Description

North Carolina April 4, 1748 £3 PCGS Apparent Fine 15.
The £3 notes are the highest denomination from this scarce early NC issue. The apparent grade was assigned to this example due to stains, repaired splits and tears, and edges rebuilt. The back is littered with contemporary notations and endorsements.
