    Description

    North Carolina April 4, 1748 40s Fair.
Certainly a very difficult note to grade since it has been severed and tape repaired, with pieces missing, tears and splits, and so on. The date remains fully legible although the note is a little crumpled together due to the tape along the center fold. It is still a 1748 note and not the more commonly seen 3 pound note.
