    North Carolina April 4, 1748 40 Shillings Drum, Cannon & Flags Fr. NC-69 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25.
    This 40 shillings note displays the corresponding emblem of a drum, cannon, and flags encompassed by a circular foliate frame. Printing is strong and the four signatures are legible, with Swann's and Moseley's standing out. The emblem is bold at the lower left. "Missing Pieces," "Splits," and "Repairs" are noted by PCGS.
