North Carolina April 23, 1761 30s Very Fine. A very rare note with an original print quantity of only 1,000 pieces. There are two tiny pinholes and two short splits, but the note is perfectly natural with no restorations of any kind, and is 100% legible, including all four signatures. The back, as is typical for this colony, is covered with contemporary endorsements, under one of which Mr. John West has written "for sheep."Auction Info
