    Description

North Carolina April 23, 1761 30s Very Fine. There are two small splits at the top, but the note is well signed, decently margined and quite attractive. Every bit of the back is covered with contemporary endorsements. Endorsements are ubiquitous on North Carolina notes of this issue, but this one is an exception, where literally every bit of space was used. There are some notations along with the signatures; in one instance, a Jeff Croom has given this note to John West, "for sheep."
