North Carolina April 23, 1761 15s PCGS Extremely Fine 40.
A fully margined and absolutely stunning example of this North Carolina note that would be fitting of the description "a screaming gem with some light folds." They simply do not come any prettier than this and when one considers that Apparent graded VF notes with lots of problems sell for close to $100, that should make a note like this all the more valuable. The last 15 shilling note that we sold in EF grade was way back in 2012; a PCGS EF 45 that sold for $690.
