    North Carolina April 2, 1776 $7 1/2 U.S. Flag with thirteen stripes and Union Jack PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
    This is the sole variety for the $7 1/2 denomination. It features one of the most patriotic vignettes found in this series. Our first national flag, the Grand Union Flag or the Continental Colors, is depicted on this note. The Stars and Stripes Flag was created by the Second Continental Congress on June 14, 1777. This is a bright, well printed, and well signed note with some contemporary writing on the back.
