DescriptionNorth Carolina April 2, 1776 $1 Scroll with denomination in white PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
There are six varieties of the $1 denomination, with two different scroll varieties among them. This example is the type with the denomination in white. Willis Alston's signature remains dark, but the signature of G. Hill has faded. Three wide margins are observed and the top and left border designs include attractive vines and flowers. There are also inconsequential small edge splits and multiple pinholes present.
