DescriptionNorth Carolina April 2, 1776 $1 Raccoon Very Fine.
This issue has a total of 56 different varieties, the most of any American paper money issue. This note is printed on the thinner paper and has an interesting depiction of a raccoon in the lower, left corner. Willis Alston's signature is strong, but the second signature has faded. It has repairs on the top and left margins. Some staining and a vertical center fold are also present.
