    Description

North Carolina April 2, 1776 $1/8 Steer PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
The steer design was one of eight different varieties for the $1/8 denomination. This note possesses nice eye appeal overall, with even color noticed. The Apparent grade was assigned due to small edge tears and a small hole near the bottom at right. We auctioned this note three years ago for $550; it is worth much more today. We have sold only three across all our sales over the last 15 years.
