DescriptionNorth Carolina April 2, 1776 $1/2 Crow and Pitcher PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25.
The crow and pitcher vignette refers to an Aesop's fable where a crow raises the water to a drinking level by dropping a number of pebbles in the pitcher (little by little does the trick). This note is boldly printed with both the vignette and text remaining dark. The note displays even color overall, further adding to the eye appeal. This is certainly one of the nicest looking examples we have handled. Small edge and internal splits led to the apparent grade.
