    J. Bradford Signature North Carolina April 2, 1776 $6 Squirrel eating a nut PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 45.
A superlative example of this Squirrel eating a nut vignetted note that has exceptional printing quality with some stains and a couple of small bottom edge repairs noted by PCGS. One of the signers is J. Bradford, who we are almost certain is a descendant of William Bradford, a leading Pilgrim who came over on the Mayflower. The last couple that we have sold were a PMG Very Fine 35 EPQ for $763.75 in our 2013 Central States sale and a PCGS Apparent About New 58 that sold for $977.50 in our 2011 Long Beach sale.
