    Description

North Carolina March 9, 1754 30s Choice Extremely Fine. An unheard-of grade for this issue, this note has four strong signatures, excellent margins, sharp, bold printing and no problems whatsoever. It's far and away the finest example we've ever seen not only of the denomination but of the entire issue. In our 30+ sales, we've handled only fourteen notes from this issue, and none have graded better than Very Fine. A simply extraordinary piece that should prove to be of extreme interest not just to the specialized North Carolina Collector but to all who are interested in Colonial Currency. A superb note.
