    Description

North Carolina April 4, 1748 £3 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
The highest denomination of the issue, and priced in Friedberg at $1,200 for a VF 25. This 30 Apparent has none of the normal reconstructed areas that are ubiquitous on this early issue. The Apparent grade is due to repaired splits and tears, none of which has caused any paper loss. In July of 2011, we sold a different PCGS 30 Apparent for $460.
