North Carolina April 2, 1776 $15 Boar PCGS Apparent About New 50.
A very well-margined example of the second highest denomination from this fifty-six note series. The fifteen dollar is one of only three denominations in the entire series that comes with just a single vignette variety, and the total printing was only five thousand. All four signatures, including the often faded red signature, are bold and clear. The boar vignette itself is razor-sharp, allowing us to see the intricate details that are seldom available on this variety. The Apparent grade has been assigned for "Small Rust Stains; Minor Mounting Remnants on Back", both of which are accurate and both of which are of extremely little consequence. A very nice note, fit for the finest of collections.
