DescriptionNew York May 12, 1755 20s PCGS Apparent Very Good 10.
This is the only example that PCGS has graded and PMG has similarly graded just a single note, with that note two points lower than this. This is the first specimen we have offered. If the Newman collection contained one, it has not yet reached the market. The apparent grade has been applied for "restorations," which are numerous but well executed. The signatures are essentially gone, but the date, denomination, New York coat of arms are almost untouched by the restorations.
Estimate: $1,000 - up.
