    Description

New York April 21, 1760 L5 PMG Net Good 6. We have only sold a couple examples from this very scarce series which is really much scarcer than the 1758 and 1759 issues. While this note has been damaged there are a lot of positives to point out. All three signatures remain boldly printed and the serial number is clearly printed. Most of the design of the New York Coat of Arms is clearly visible as well as half of the motto "Tis Death to Counterfeit." PMG notes that this has been backed and there are pieces missing which is certainly easy to see from the scan. Nonetheless, this is a difficult example to obtain in any grade and squandering such an opportunity might lead to future migraines as you realize there aren't many more out there to obtain.
