The back of the $1 design incorporates a large emblem of a sheaf of wheat with the motto ACERVUS PARVIS GRANDIS (Great accumulation from small things). This lightly circulated example is darkly printed on brighter paper with clear margins and clear signatures of Y. Duyckinck and Daniel Dunscomb, Jr.
