New York- City of Albany September 5, 1792 2d PCGS Apparent Very Good 10.
The City of Albany made a number of small change note issues between 1790 and 1793. The September 5, 1792 issue comprised three denominations: 1d, 2d, and 3d. 12000 of each denomination was printed. This note has seen time in circulation, but its diminutive size probably aided its survival. Although PCGS notes edge and internal splits and some damage along the left edge, the note is still structurally intact and quite presentable. Track & Price records only two public auction appearances.
