New York April 21, 1760 £2 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
Beautifully printed and signed with lots of original embossing still remaining. This 1760 New York Issue is much scarcer than most of the other issues of the era. For all the denominations combined HCAA has only sold five examples. The only other £2 we have sold was a PCGS 25 Apparent in our 2009 Midnight Ride Auction. That note sold for $920. The Apparent grade was applied for "Edge Splits and Repairs; Stains". From the face the note retains excellent eye appeal.
