State of New Jersey January 9, 1781 1 Shilling Fr. NJ-194. PCGS Choice About New 55PPQ.A scarcer series of State of New Jersey notes with the State arms on the face and nature print on the back. There are few strictly uncirculated notes known from this series, and they often are poorly cut, making this one of the finer examples known. Darkly inked and deeply printed by Isaac Collins, with the location "Trenton" on the nature print back. With superior margins on three sides although there is a petty, short miscut along the bottom left edge. The face-to-back registration is superb for the issue. Another perfect representative from this late issue.
