Broadly Margined March 25, 1776 John Hart Note
New Jersey March 25, 1776 3 Shillings John Hart Signature Fr. NJ-177. PCGS Very Choice New 64.A beautiful example from the other, slightly later, New Jersey series having John Hart signatures. Hart's well-accomplished signature is centered between those of Robert Smith and John Stevens, Jr. Broadly margined with rich red Arms at the lower left. Perhaps this is conservatively graded, as it is a very attractive type note with the eye appeal of a PPQ note. The Hart signature is sharp. These notes are justifiably popular due to their historic character.
