Description

    New Jersey June 22, 1756 30s Fine.
This is number 162 of only 2000 examples printed. It is one of the three highest denominations from the issue and they are all far rarer than the lower denominations, which are seen with some frequency. This is the only example of this 30s denomination that we have ever handled and we have sold over thirty other notes from this issue. This note has rounded corners and a considerable amount of wear. There is a short piece of tape reinforcing the top of the center split, but it is otherwise free of restorations. Certainly a very rare note.
