    Description

New Jersey February 20, 1776 30s Choice Extremely Fine. Signed by John Hart, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, in a bold dark brown hand that is both larger and stronger than his typical signature found on New Jersey notes. This is the far scarcer February issue, which itself would be a highly desirably note even without the Hart signature. It's low serial number 83 and a bold, bright well margined piece.
