    Description

    New Jersey April 8, 1762 30s PMG Fine 12 Net. This was an issue in a succession of New Jersey issues to finance the French and Indian Wars. Printer James Parker printed a mere 5850 of these red and black 30 shillings notes. Parker was said to have been industrious, honest, good hearted, and possessing sound judgment. This example has plate letter B. Nevill, Rodman, and Skinner were the signers of this note. Corner repairs were mentioned by PMG.
